Gina and Zion hired us for the short and sweet package for their intimate wedding at the idyllic Makoura Lodge. It has everything you want and more for your wedding and the friendly staff make sure all is taken care of, including getting us to the best locations for photos only accessible by 4WD.  Gina was stunning in her gown from Bridal Studio  and the celebrant Chris Hince  had the ceremony running smoothly, a tissue handy for the bride’s happy tears and helped get the group photos organised for us. Even the rain, that had been persistent leading up to the ceremony, took a break and let the sun step in until just as we were finishing up with the photos. It was awesome to finally see this well deserving couple say I do. Emma and Jeremy chose the Deluxe package and had to postpone their April wedding because, well,  global pandemic and all. It was touch and go in the days leading up to their rescheduled day with Covid rearing it’s ugly head again, but love conquers all and even the weather behaved and turned on the clear blue skies. The Boatshed catering team at the Chalet served up delicious food and excellent service, followed by the cake from Vanilla pod designer cakes that taste as good as they look. The grounds around the Chalet were the perfect setting for photos so there was no need to go anywhere else and the Bride and Groom got to make the most of the time with family and friends together.
